According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, an opportunity is defined as “a favourable juncture of circumstances” or “a good chance for advancement or progress”. In business opportunities are like seeds with a promise. Every time we identify one, we try to assess the odds. Is it worthy to plant and nurture the seed? Will it pay off? With so many variables that may affect the outcome of each opportunity, even the salesperson with great intuition prefers to manage his/her opportunities systematically. The Web Client for SAP Business One enables you to create and process sales and purchasing opportunities:

Manage Opportunities

The “Opportunities” app opens the Manage Opportunities list view where you can search, filter, and create various views of opportunities. You are also able to change the status of single or multiple opportunities in a bulk action, remove irrelevant ones, preview, and create new ones.

In the Opportunity form, there are visual indicators for the closing rate and status, and various operations are available according to the status of the given opportunity:

Manage Opportunities

The “Create Opportunity” app launches the Opportunity form in add mode for creating new opportunities. Both apps are available under the CRM module, on the home page, and in the main menu. If you already manage opportunities in SAP Business One, they will also be available for you in the Web Client.

Available in Web Client for SAP Business One 10.0, and SAP Business One 10.0 version for SAP HANA. Please get in touch if you would like to upgrade to version 10.0.
