Managing inventory in multiple warehouses can be quite challenging – monitoring the levels of inventory in each warehouse, making sure that the distribution of goods across the various warehouses is the efficient, and so on. Yes, there are reports that can show you this information, but these reports can be even more valuable, if you define locations. See below at our SAP Business One tip of the week to learn how.

Once your list of locations is set, you can assign each warehouse to the relevant location (in the Warehouse – Setup window). When generating inventory related reports, such as Inventory Status, Inventory in Warehouse, etc. you can use the locations as selection criteria and display the results according to locations.

Available in SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA and SAP Business One.
