Knowledge is power. It’s reassuring to know that you have certain information available, just in case you may need it one day. This is exactly the reasoning behind the Change Log. Most of the time, you don’t need it but it’s good to know that it’s there.
When the time comes and you do need to look at the Change Log, you would want to have as many details as possible so you can see the smallest pieces in the big picture. For that purpose, SAP Business One introduces more granular data:
The new columns “Updated On/At” and “Created On/At”, display the date and time of each update and date and time of record creation. When clicking the “Show Differences” button, the before and after details of the selected instance will be displayed.
