The Chart of Accounts is the heart of the business and this is where all the numbers add up. When a user creates a document or transaction, most of the time accounts are involved. Account information can be accessed conveniently and efficiently. However, what if certain accounts contain sensitive data? What if certain accounts are allocated to sensitive projects that involve very specific employees? For such cases, SAP Business One enables you to set those accounts as “Confidential”:

Accounts set as “Confidential” are visible and accessible only for users who have full authorization to “Access to Confidential Accounts”. Other users cannot see, access, or record data to those accounts.

Available in SAP Business One 9.3, version for SAP HANA and SAP Business One 9.3.
