About the role
Our company is seeking a visionary and results-driven Solution Architect to provide strategic direction and execution as a member of the leadership team. You will be responsible for driving growth, developing product and technology solutions, building pre-sales competencies, and implementing company operating policies and procedures that ensure the long-term success of the organisation.
This role is based in the United Kingdom-based. We work on a hybrid model of office, home, and client on-site as required to meet G3G’s business objectives.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of G3G UK and indirectly to the Group Chief Technical Officer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product and technology solution strategy for the Uk and Europe markets that aligns with the company’s go-to-market goals and objectives.
- Identify new opportunities and provide solution plans to capitalise on them.
- Analyse technology trends, new innovations, and competitor activity to identify areas of opportunity and potential risks.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to the consulting team, including assisting with setting goals and objectives, providing regular reviews and feedback, and holding team members accountable.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, partners, and company management.
- Participate in developing and maintaining budgets, financial plans, and financial reports that ensure the financial health of the company’s professional services business.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Lead and oversee pre-sales engagements, quality control the solution content for client proposals and provide solution pricing.
Experience and Qualifications Required
Experience
Experience is an important component for an organisation like G3G that is seeking to rapidly grow and expand its overall business. Leading growth requires a “hands-on” approach to implementing and scaling business operations and relies on experienced leaders to make quick decisions that achieve business outcomes.
- Deep knowledge of SAP technologies: have a thorough understanding of SAP’s suite of products and technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other relevant solutions. Be able to assess the latest SAP products and provide solutions to clients based on their needs.
- Experience with cloud computing: The demand for cloud-based solutions is increasing in the market. Should have hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Be able to guide our clients in choosing the right cloud infrastructure and architecture.
- Industry-specific experience: Different industries have unique requirements and regulations. Have experience working in various industries, including manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and services. Be able to provide solutions that meet specific industry requirements.
- Project management experience: Have experience managing large and complex projects. This includes managing resources, timelines, budgets, and risks. Project management skills are essential in delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication and leadership skills: Be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, clients, and team members. Be able to lead the project team, set priorities, and resolve conflicts.
- Continuous learning: To remain relevant in the market, one must be committed to continuous learning. This includes keeping up with the latest technologies and trends in the SAP ecosystem.
Overall, a senior SAP solution architect should have a strong technical background, industry-specific experience, project management skills, communication and leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous learning. These qualities will help meet G3G’s objectives within the current product and market demands.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a senior leadership role.
- Strong track record of success in developing and executing business strategies that drive growth and profitability.
- Experience in managing budgets, financial planning, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve their full potential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
