Lists are great, right? We create and use lists in many aspects of our lives. List of pros & cons, ingredients for birthday cake, list of account balance, but in every list only one item can be the first. You could claim that it does not matter when baking a cake as the flour and eggs are equally important regardless of their position in the list. That might be the case with recipes, but the sequence of items in a list in business might be highly significant. For example, when creating documents such as quotations or orders, you want to emphasize certain items. It could be that you made the document in the correct sequence from the start, but then an item was added, replaced, or, removed, and a new sequence is required. In these cases, the Web Client for SAP Business One enables you to move document lines and reposition them as needed:
While in Edit mode, just select the line you want to reposition and use the Up or Down arrow buttons to move it to the required place. This option is available for Sales Quotations, Sales Orders, Purchase Quotations, and Purchase Orders.
Note that in all other documents, these buttons are available while in “Create” mode. You can change the sequence of the line items before saving the document:
Available in Web Client for SAP Business One 10.0, and SAP Business One 10.0 version for SAP HANA. Please get in touch if you would like to upgrade to version 10.0.
